How the BR1 game loop works
BR1 runs on persistent, always-live servers.
There are no traditional “matches” with a fixed start and end. Instead:
You DEPOSIT funds to spawn into the world
You EARN funds for each player you eliminate
If you DIE/SURVIVE, you must pay to respawn
In BR1: INFINITE, the game server never stops, only your session ends until your next spawn.
Risk servers and stakes
Each game mode has a different entry cost with a structure that scales:
FREE SERVERS (used solely for practice & levelling up)
RISK SERVERS ($0.25, $0.50, $1.00, $5.00)
EXAMPLE: $1 GAME MODE
User pays $1.00 to spawn
User earns $1.00 per elimination (excluding 'BR1 Service Fees')
Each Risk Mode features a different entry cost and payout structure, allowing players to select their desired level of risk. Performance directly determines profitability.
Maintain a minimum 1.3 K/D ratio (1.13 K/D if maxed-out ERB) on Risk Servers to be profitable.
How players earn in BR1
BR1 offers multiple earning paths, each rewarding different playstyles and strategies. Players can strategize their goals to maximize earnings. Not all players play for the same goals, and so mastering each type of earning mechanism is critical.
Players can generate revenue through:
Eliminations // Kills - guaranteed earnings
Cash Drops & Extractions // Looting for Cash - requires extracting without dying
Kill Races // Tournaments - place in the top of the event leaderboard for cash
Players can also:
Earn BR1 Points from Playing, Looting, & Renting, and spend them on items in the Store.
Earn XP and Level Up from Spawning & Eliminating, and unlock items from the Infinite Pass.
Players maximize their earnings if they consistently:
Eliminate opponents
Successfully extract loot
Rank on Kill Race Leaderboards
Max out their Earning Retention Bonus
Maintain a high K/D ratio (maximizing kill vs spawn ratio)
Operatives, weapons, and ERB
Depending on the BR1: Operatives and BR1: Weapons you have equipped, users can increase their profitability by maximizing their Earnings Retention Bonus (ERB). This bonus reduces the 'BR1 Service Fee' and increases the base profit of every elimination achieved. An in-game asset's ERB can be found in its description and metadata. Each item's ERB is fixed and cannot be changed, making some more valuable than others on secondary markets.
Users who equip Operatives and Weapons have a 0.5% - 15% Earnings Retention Bonus (ERB).
