So its the Preseason, what should you be doing to best position yourself for the real launch

Collect BR1: Operatives & Weapons

At this point, users can begin to collect BR1 Operatives and Weapons which have functionality both in game and outside of it. Just like the BR1 Universe, Operatives have their own lore you can read about.

What do these Operatives and Weapons do for me?

As a Player

• As a player, you can equip your Operatives and Weapons to increase your Earnings Retention Bonus ‘ERB’ in-game. A maxed out 15% ERB means that you are making 15% more per kill on than a player without any owned items. I.e. In the $1 game mode, making $0.15 more per kill a substantial increase in your ROI. As a Holder

• As a holder, you can rent your Operatives to earn additional rewards or use them to build out your own BR1 Team. Read more about the Renting System and Team Functionality.

Opening Loot Boxes

BR1 Loot Boxes contain 3 predefined BR1: Weapons. There is usually a fee associated with opening Loot Boxes, but during the Preseason, users can open BR1 Loot Boxes for FREE.

Users can open Loot Boxes directly on the BR1 Website and immediately use the assets they receive in game, or sell them on a marketplace for USD/Solana.

Renting & Epoch Rewards

Rent your BR1: Operatives and Items to generate rewards through our renting system. The more Operatives and Items you rent the larger the rewards you receive.

Every renting Epoch (30-70 days) yields a different reward and requirement for claiming that reward. The current Epoch reward and its requirements can be found on the renting page here.

NFTs must be in the Renting System for 30% of the renting rewards period AND remain there until the end of the renting rewards period to claim the reward.

The max earnings bonus is currently 15%, that means you can stack multiple weapon skins + 1 operative to achieve up to a 15% bonus.

Tournaments

The BR1: INFINITE Kill Races are Daily, Weekly, and Monthly tournaments that players can compete in where their total KILLs over the mentioned period of time are counted, and depending on where you rank by total kills you get your fair share of the prize.

Players can choose to opt in to one of the three Kill Races in which their kills will start to be tracked for the duration of the tournament. The goal is to secure as many kills as possible throughout the race and maintain your position on the leaderboard until the tournament time expires. Usually Kill Races have an entry fee to opt into but during the Preseason, they are free to enter.
